Small- to Medium-Batch CNC Machining
As a modern subtractive manufacturing shop, Gremlin Works utilizes computer numerical control (CNC) milling and turning to create precision parts. Our expert team can handle orders for components of various materials, shapes, sizes, and design complexities. Examples of the materials we commonly work with include:
Metals | Plastics | Other Materials |
– Aluminums (6061 / 7075 / Tool, Jig, & Fixture Plate Materials / Etc.) – Coppers / Brasses / Bronzes – Steels (Low-High Carbon / Alloy / Etc.) – Stainless Steels (300s / 400s / 17-4 / PHs / Etc.) – Titaniums – Nickel Alloys | – Delrin – Acrylic – Nylon – HDPE – PVC – ABS – PEEK – And More | – Rubbers – Foams – Customer-Supplied / Unique Materials |
From these materials, we can machine anything from parts with microscopic features and tight tolerance requirements to large components that weigh thousands of pounds.
We work with a range of advanced machinery to make this happen, producing accurate parts of varying dimensions and feature complexity. Our facility is equipped with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines, highly flexible mill/turn equipment, and large-format CNC equipment. Our specific machinery includes:

Gremlin Works excels at machining products with complex or intricate designs that would be difficult to achieve through standard workholding techniques. We have options for magnetic, vacuum, or custom fixture plates to best suit our clients’ varied needs. We commonly machine parts with global tolerances of ±0.005″, but upon request, we can generally achieve tolerances on most features tighter than 0.001″.

Rapid Prototyping
Our CNC machining capabilities also support our work in prototyping. We have the experience, capacity, and speed to provide rapid prototyping with extremely tight turn times when you need it most. We offer this expedited service should you run into tight deadlines or emergency situations.
Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Even a small modification to a component’s design can not only make it easier and faster to manufacture, but more affordable as well. Our talented team of experienced engineers and machinists will work closely with you to help you gain an understanding of how design improvements can enhance manufacturability, shorten lead times, and result in more cost-effective production.
